"Today, We will continue to talk about the construction of composite drainage geonet."
3. Install water diversion block at retaining wall or parapet wall. The main function of water diversion block is to collect rainwater and drain water from drainage hole. The water guide block is made of plastic seepage and drainage sheets with a width of 100-200 mm and a thickness of 50 mm. And the installation length is determined by the width of the drainage site.
4. After installation of drainage pad and water guide block, geotextiles are laid. When two geotextiles overlap, the overlap width is not less than 200 mm.
5. When geotextiles are laid on parapets or retaining walls, they are rolled over to the height of the water guide block h mm. Generally, H = 100-150 mm. Then, double fold the geotextiles. The geotextile fixing belt is then fixed on the parapet (or retaining wall).
6.Geotextile fixing strip is 50 mm wide and 8 mm thick wood strip dipped with asphalt. Cement nails are used to fix geotextiles on parapets (or retaining walls).
7. The water collected through the diversion block is discharged from the drainage hole to the rainwater ditch. Drainage holes are located at the lower part of the retaining wall. And the size of the discharge hole is 120 mm x 60 mm. The distance between the two discharge holes is 1-2 m.
